&lt;P&gt;It will work just fine. Connect it without the jumper to the R terminal.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Nest Thermostat R Wire</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My old Honeywell thermostat has both an RH and an RC terminal with a red wire going to the RH and a jumper connecting the RH to the RC.&amp;nbsp; The new Nest thermostat only has an R terminal (no separate RH / RC).&amp;nbsp; Is this going to work for heating and cooling, or do I need to get a different thermostat that has both the RH and RC?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The Google Nest will work just fine.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Give this wiring a try,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Blue = C to C&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;White - W to W&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Yellow - Y to Y&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Green - G to G&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Red - RH to R (jumper to RC not needed)&lt;/P&gt;</description>
