Nest Thermostat R Wire

My old Honeywell thermostat has both an RH and an RC terminal with a red wire going to the RH and a jumper connecting the RH to the RC. The new Nest thermostat only has an R terminal (no separate RH / RC). Is this going to work for heating and cooling, or do I need to get a different thermostat that has both the RH and RC?

It will work just fine. Connect it without the jumper to the R terminal.

Post a picture of the original thermostat's wiring and I'll take a look at it for you

Thank you for the response. I've attached photos of the old thermostat wiring and the nest terminals. The red wire goes to the RH terminal with a jumper to the RC. The nest also has an OB terminal.

The Google Nest will work just fine.

Give this wiring a try,

Blue = C to C

White - W to W

Yellow - Y to Y

Green - G to G

Red - RH to R (jumper to RC not needed)
