Heat goes on even though both Nest thermostats are off

I have a downstairs Nest that controls downstairs heat and an upstairs thermostat that controls heat and cool. These thermostats have been hooked up for over a year and functioning properly. The past 2 days I noticed that the house was very hot. I turned off both thermostats and the heat still goes on every few minutes. I have a c wire and the heat is baseboard/gas. I looked at the wires inside the furnace and nothing is touching each other and the thermostats are seated properly. Any idea what is going on? Thanks

What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
What type of HVAC system do you have?
Is the thermostat's display seated properly?
Did you charge the thermostat with a USB cable?
• Is there a wiring report or error message on your thermostat and/or app?
Can you please send me a picture of the Nest Thermostat wiring?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Hello, it turns out that my valve wasn't working properly and it was stuck in the ON position, so it had nothing to do with the Nest thermostat. I put a new valve in and it works now. Thanks for the response.
