Post a picture of the original thermostat's wiring here.

Are you sure you have the Nest Thermostat E? It is only available from a Nest Pro.

Does your thermostat have a mirrored display?

I have been given different answers I have on my Honeywell the following wires connected. E, R,G,B,Y,C. The nest app says is not compatible but if y remove the E from the list the app says is compatible. Also seen comments online saying you can connect wire E to W1. Any recommendations?

It is like your system might have a heat pump, where the E wire is for emergency heat. Connecting it to W1 can work in some cases, but it depends on your setup Best Pinch Clips. If the Nest app marks it as compatible without E, it might be worth checking if your system supports automatic heat management without it.

Hello Krev,

Thanks for reaching out to the Nest Community. We're happy to help you with your questions about how to connect and set up your thermostat.

To give you the most accurate assistance, could you please provide photos of your current wiring? This will allow us to compare and identify any potential issues.

You should find a camera icon or "Insert photos" option to attach the images. If you don't see this on your mobile device, please try using a different browser or a computer.

We look forward to your response and the photos.

Regards,

Kevin
