&lt;P&gt;Where did you hear the loud pop come from?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If from the thermostat then there is a good chance it is bad. You can check it by connecting the Green and Red wires and the blower should turn on.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If it doesn't, you should check the fuse on the control PCB in the furnace/air handler. If it is blown you will need to call in a HVAC technician.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
