Nest 3rd Gen wires not matching Honeywell wiring,

Wires simply do not match. Would post a picture, but don’t see a way to do so.

Thanks! I’ll lookup how to do that. I was able to contact Nest support, and they were able to tell me where the 2 mystery wires went.

There is no way they know where the “mystery” wires go or went. Since they were not connected on your old thermostat, There is no thermostat manufactured anywhere in the world that can see the color of the wire. The only way to verify is the go to the air handler/furnace and see what the mystery wires are connected to.

Thanks so much for responding! Nest support with pictures was required to find out where the two wires went. They simply weren’t outlined anywhere.
