All,

I have 6 wires with the following labels: O/W2/B, R, C, Y/T2, G, & W/W1. Is any Nest capable with this set up?

Note: the system has the following wire colors with those descriptors: orange, red, blue, yellow, white, and green.

You might have a HeatPump with Auxiliary heating. The tricky part is the O/W2/B terminal. This can be programed to be Heat Pump (O or B) or stage 2 heating (W2). If you have a gas furnace, then it will be W2. If you have a heat pump, it will be O or a B. Either way you will need a Nest Learning Thermostat Generation 3 or a newer Generation 4.
