topic heating/cooling swapped, no O/B setting, gen 1 in Nest Thermostats

heating/cooling swapped, no O/B setting, gen 1

Heating and cooling are swapped. I have to set it to heat mode for my house to get cooler. All the articles I read about swapping heating and cooling say to switch O/S setting under Thermostat on the Google Home app. This is not a setting on my Home app.

Old thermostat had R, Y (with jumper to W), G, O.

Nest has R, Y, G the same. It asked me to plug O into W. Even if I plug O into O/B, it does not work.

How else can I change heating/cooling?

connect your W1 to your O/B if you have a 2 stage unit

connect W1 to O/B and insert wire into O/B connection port
