Hello,

I am a long-time Nest user and recently learned about the trade-in program offering a $130 credit toward the new Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Generation) for eligible owners of 1st or 2nd gen models.

I have a Nest Learning Thermostat – 2nd Generation, and I believe I qualify for the offer, but I have not received the promotional email.

Could you please check my eligibility and resend the promo code or unique redemption link?

Same here. It’s just nuts that a thermostat in the past was not replaced for the life of the home. Now, you pay at least 10 times as much for a thermostat and it becomes obsolete within 5 years (at the most). Oh yeah it has smart functions you’re accustomed to that they take away. Let’s have a thermostat you have to manually change when it was functioning well via internet connection. Why not at least have it controlled via WiFi?

It's completely understandable that this situation has caused frustration, as the discount was intended to help users who still have the Nest Learning Thermostat (1st and 2nd gen) to upgrade and get the best possible service with these thermostats.

Hi Eduardo. How do I get the promotional code to upgrade my Nest Gen 2 to Nest Gen 4 please ? I sent an email a while back and never received an answer. The email I received a few month ago does not work . Please provide guidance . thanks

Zaii1955, THANK YOU for posting this!!!! Just learned from a co-worker when I happened to mention I wanted to upgrade my Gen 1. Had no knowledge that this was happening!!!!!!! Even went back through old emails and nothing. Thanks for raising this issue.

It appears they just shut off these stats and never sent an email. Im in the same boat, woke up to an offline stat and no discount they said theu offer
