I also don't know why you would get a "&lt;EM&gt;Check instructions that have been emailed to you&lt;/EM&gt;" message in response to a password reset and then never get the email.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You could try contacting &lt;STRONG&gt;Support&lt;/STRONG&gt;:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1. Go to &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Next&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;".&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3.       <title>Cannot Reset My Nest Password????</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What a horrible user experience! Two of my three Nest thermostats are suddenly offline in the Nest app; the 3rd is still connected. Cannot login into the Nest account as my password no longer works. Have spent at least 30 minutes trying to reset my Google Nest password. No luck. The change message says, “Check instructions that have been emailed to you.” No instruction email ever arrives! So, what should be ‘Stupidly Simple” doesn’t work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Shouldn’t this stuff just work?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would appreciate any guidance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
