Thanks for contacting this community! I completely understand that your Nest Thermostat E is constantly running even when you turn off the air conditioning. I know it can be very strange that even though it's working, it's not blowing hot or cold air. Don't worry, I'm here to help you!

To bring you the most accurate troubleshooting steps possible, I'd like to ask you some questions.

Are there fan schedules on your thermostat?

Are there heating and cooling schedules?

Is there a fan timer on your thermostat?

Is the G wire for the fan connected properly to the base plate?

Hello,

As of yesterday, 9/4/25, the fan seems to be running constantly. I've had the unit since 2019, I can set the control to Cool and it works fine. However, when I turn the air conditioning off, the fan continues to run. It is not blowing out cold or hot air, the fan is just running. Please help. Thank you!
