Can’t connect to SmartThings via Matter

I have a Nest 4th Gen. I use my fridge (Samsung SmartThings) to control everything through Matter. I’ve had my Nest set up for a while but never added it to SmartThings, and am trying to do that now.

It’s trying to link to my Google account.

I control the Nest through my Google Home account, but when I tried to link SmartThings to Google, it said it was the wrong account. I opened my Nest Account in a browser, and it didn’t show any devices as registered.

So, I tried to add my thermostat. The add a device flow didn’t have fourth gen Nests as an option. I downloaded the Nest app, same thing.

I just want to add my Nest thermostat to the same hub I use for managing all my other devices. Help?

Are you signed into the exact same email account in both the Google Home and SmartThings apps?
Could you please specify whether you are utilizing iOS or Android?
