How do I wire my Nest Gen 3 to Daikin DMVTCP1300 the condenser is a heat pump and I will be installing a heat kit. Basically 1 cool/2 heat.

So wire heat strips to w1 instead of w2 like a typical 2 heat 1 cool system?

Please answer the following questions to help me investigate this further:

Is this a new installation, or are you replacing an existing thermostat that was already working with this system? If you have a previous thermostat, please send a clear picture of the current wiring.
Could you please post a clear picture of your Daikin system's control board wiring?
Does your current system manage any additional equipment, such as a whole-home humidifier, dehumidifier, or a multi-speed fan?
Do you have a gas furnace for backup heat, or is it just electric "heat strips" in the vents?
When was the last time the air filters were changed or the furnace was serviced?
