topic Nest thermostat says heating in two plus hours in Nest Thermostats

The thermostat started showing this message yeaterday. It does warm up but the message will say heating in two plus hours rather than saying heating or under ten minutes etc. it was disconnected Sunday briefly when installing a new modem in the house. Would that be the cause? And when will it go back to normal?
