Whole house humidifier, how to get Nest to be smart about it?

Nest "learning" thermostat haven't yet learned or figured out that in order to evacuate resdlidual steam from the ducts I manually run a fan for 15min after Nest stops the call for whole house humidifier. How do I teach it? On a side note it's bamboozling that Neat engineers decided to shut down the blower fan the moment the humidifier is turned off.
