Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delayed response. I want to take a look into this.

A few questions — what specific Google Nest device are you trying to set up? Is this a first time set up or has your device worked before? Also, are you getting a message or a code after entering the "last four digits"? If yes, what is it?

Tell me more and I'll be glad to check on it.

There actually is NO area on that screen to input the info it is asking for. Please fix this. Thanks.

To add: I am setting up a new Nest Learning Thermostat. It cannot be added to Google Home, but is otherwise working.
