Nest E frequently short cycles my 2 wire oil burner (heat only) furnace. Since I have no available C wire, I THOUGHT the answer was to add an external 24v transformer and the Google Nest Power Connector. No dice. It still frequently short cycles. Is it time to abandon the Nest E and get the Ecobee?
