Thermostat is not responding to app

I am trying to use the app to heat my home and nothing is responding. The thermostat dial goes up but nothing happens. The furnace is not turning on. The orange heating indicater light came on for a few min raised the temperature two degree then quickly turned off. The inside temperature is at 47 degrees with the thermostat stat set at 68.

Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

We could check further by inspecting your HVAC filters and drip pans. Also, check your HVAC fuse and switches. Restarting your Nest Thermostat by going to settings then restart could help us rule out where the issue is coming from.
