I've been having major issues with my furnace lately. Many days we get no heat at all, yesterday was one of those, and yet under "history" its showing it was on for over 8 hours! This is happening regularly. Anybody else encounter this type of issue and if so what did you do about it?

Same thing happening in my home, except mine days is been running for 24 hours but it's probably only running for 2 and I have to manually trigger the heat to turn on. Waking up every morning froze because my thermostat is stuck on the on position and not communicating with the furnace to turn that on, even though the thermostat says it's on. Just super frustrating and I'm sick of my house being 68⁰ when my thermostat is set to 73⁰, not to mention I have to manually go in, turn the heat off on my thermostat and then turn it back on to communicate with my furnace.
