My nest ap says my thermostat is offline but the thermostat says it is connected. Now what?

Hi MSJS,

Sorry to hear about your Nest thermostat as well as for the delay. I want to dig deeper into this.

A few questions — what type of Nest thermostat is this? Is it showing offline to just a specific phone or does it happen to all mobile devices where the Nest app is installed on? Also, have you tried force closing then reopening back the app? It would also be great of you can provide a rundown of all the steps you've tried so we can pick up from where you've left off.

Sorry I tried to just reply to your email and my reply didn’t go thru. I finally got the app to connect by rebooting the router. Strange that the app and the thermostat both said they were connected
