Ive had a flashing blue light for 36 hours . The heat link and thermostat will not connect with each other . Got a h72 error on the app on my phone

The display, does that say the same code H72?

Try Reset Pairing if it does

Hi @Greenbackchap. Thanks for reaching out. The h72 error indicates a power issue. I'd like to check the power settings on your thermostat. Does it stay charged long enough so you can check Settings > Technical Info > Power?
