Account migration

I originally had a nest account with two cameras and two thermostats. I have a Google home account and tried to migrate the two nest cameras and the two thermostats to Google Home it tells me the accounts are linked but I am unable to see the nest cameras or the thermostats in Home.

am I missing something?

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the delay. I want to check on this further.

Just to confirm — when logging into your Nest app via the 'Sign in with Google' option and using the Gmail account and password where you've migrated your Nest account to, do you see this missing devices? If you're unsure, could you give try it out and let me know what happens?

When logging into my Google home app I cannot see my nest cameras or thermostats.

Just logged into nest using my Google log in and I do not have any cameras or thermostats listed.

to be clear - I want to use the Google home app to access all of my cameras and thermostats. If I have to use two apps I’m better off using a different service

Hey JonDino,

Understood. When you logged into your Google Home app, did you use the same email address where you successfully migrated your Nest account to? Also, had you tried checking if there are other homes on your Google Home app where your Nest devices could be? Try the steps I've outlined below:

Open your Google Home app .
At the top, tap the name of the current home.
Select a new home from the drop-down. If the drop-down icon doesn’t appear, you only have one home in the Home app.
