Wifi and Nest thermostat

Admittedly I have a weak WiFi connectivity. ############ Mbps. Tv successfully connecting as well as cellphones. My new nest thermostat won’t. Not a nest learning thermostat. Any ideas out there. Connection via Google mesh network point.

Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

Few thing to check for us to further isolate the issue if it's a thing on your router or the thermostat:

Remove your thermostat and bring it closer to the router.
Check if it can detect and connect easier.
Do you have a common (C) wire connected on your thermostat?
Were you able to change the temperature even without connecting it to the WiFi?
Try to use your phone as a WiFi (mobile hotspot) and check if your thermostat can detect and connect to it.
