Wifi connection issue to thermostat

I have tried everything and my thermostat still won’t find my wifi network. It used to find it and then just stopped and won’t reconnect. I’m out of ideas to try to fix it.

Maybe it’s the cwire connection. I’m waiting for the connector but in the meantime I purchased a cwire adapter that fixed the issue. You just need an outlet close to the thermostat.

Sld, sorry for the delayed response but thanks for reaching out. A few questions — what type of Nest thermostat do you have? Did this work with this same Wi-Fi network before? Also, do you get a specific message or a code on your thermostat display or your Google Home/Nest app when attempting to connect it to any Wi-Fi network?

Not sure what you mean by “type”. do you mean model number? If so where do I find that? Also, it is the same wifi network and it used to work. Now I get a W5 error message and I’ve tried everything to get it reconnected. Thanks for your help.

We have a 2nd generation programmable thermostat. I’ve tried everything to reconnect and it just won’t.
