Heat not consistently turning on

My nest works normally most of the time, but once every few weeks, the thermostat will say it’s on, but the boiler does not come on. I haven’t been able to troubleshoot the problem because every single time, it comes on as soon as I cycle the heat setting. (I turn the thermostat down below the temp then turn it back up above the temp)

is this a boiler controller issue or a thermostat issue? Any ideas welcome.

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like the heating valve might get stuck sometimes. Have you seen any messages on the thermostat display?
