Does or can the Nest thermostat send notifications when it is cooling or heating?

Unfortunately not but if you have Samsung SmartThings you can get it to send you a notification also if required get echo speaker to tell you heating or cooling. I'm hoping once matter is released I can finally ditch my echos & have nest thermostat directory access routines.

Notthereyet, while our Nest thermostats don't send notifications if it is cooling or heating, we're always working on ways to improve and we'll take this as feedback.
