Thermostat problem

Hi all

had a thermostat for a couple of years and it’s been great. Recently though it has started crashing, being extremely sluggish, and won’t connect to the wifi. I have factory reset the thermostat and the router as recommended online but still it’s not working. Can anyone suggest anything that could fix this?

Sorry for the delay and also to hear about your experience with your Nest thermostat. I want to check on this further.

A few questions — what type of Nest thermostat is this? When attempting to get it connected to your WiFi network, are you getting a specific message or a code on your Nest/Google Home app or on your thermostat display? Also, did you reset all the settings of it when you did the factory reset?

Please tell me more so I can dig deeper into it.
