Nest thermostat continues to read 2/4 degrees in advance of the room temperature tried to reset many times but getting to the point of having it replaced by a different company’s product only had it just over a year

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry to hear about what happened.

There are times that your Nest thermostat would show a difference in temperature reading, there can be a small difference between what the app and your thermostat show and the temperature you feel. Check out this link to know more the reasons and why does it happen.

It is normal for your home’s temperature to vary slightly (typically one or two degrees) above or below the temperature set on your thermostat for a short while. This is often due to the built-in delay for turning on your system.
