My old thermostat for a rooftop furnace and heat pump is wired this way (pic attached). As you can see, they used 2 x jumper wires. I believe I read that the Nest thermostat has the jumpers built in. So can I wire my model G4CVZ Nest unit according (just leaving out the jumpers)? Thanks in advance for the help.

Hey Csginla7,

Glad to be of help! That is correct, Nest Thermostats do not use jumper wires, and you would want to wire the device the same. If you run into any issues or trouble, you can always reach back out, and I would be happy to help out.

You can also have a Nest Pro come out and take a closer look. They would be able to set up the device and ensure everything is working properly.

Best regards,
