I have a Y1 Problem, please help. : (

None of the wires are touching. They haven't touched. It used to work fine for at least a year. I'm not sure how to fix the Y1 problem. The AC fan works. The heat activation works. Just a Y1 that goes somewhere and I have no idea where it goes.

I see a spare blue wire, if it is also at the thermostat use it to create a C wire. The Nest thermostat E sometimes needs the C wire to keep its internal battery fully charged.

What does blue C wire do? and what is *0B?

Those shown are the only wires that go up to the thermostat. It was working fine with the Nest for at least 1 year. I've replaced the one that was already with the house.

What do you do when it says no power to Y1? Is it connected in the attic? Where does Y1 actually go.
How does Y1 even get powered??

There is a thick blackwire that is a positive live wire when I checked it with the voltage tester. Is it supposed to be positive in this area or someone put it on black on purpose to be mischievous?

I actually fixed the problem by Pushing the Nest until it turned off then releasing.
