Google nest works well with heat all winter. Now trying to set up a/c, theses are the wires from seperate a/c thermostat(yellow...green....red..) which terminals on the nest do they go to? Right now I show no cooling mode on the nest.(can I post picture?)

Do you have two separate systems for heating and cooling? If yes, are you trying to control both with one Nest thermostat?

Can you post a picture of the original thermostat's wiring?

If you are trying to control both systems with just one Nest thermostat then you need the Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Gen. The Google Nest Thermostat is not compatible with a dual transformer system which is what you will have.
