Nest Thermastat incompatibility

I purchased three nest thermostats and I received a free nest power connector. I just had Ontech here to install the power connector to my HVAC system. I have oil heat with forced hot air and different zones (purchased three Nest Thermostats from my local power company). I believe I meet all the requirements to have this thermostat and power connector as per the Google Nest Website. The tech was 30 minutes late for his two hour window, so waited 2.5 hours. He came in and indicated the power connector is not compatible with my system as I had valves. Said no work around. No way to connect the Nest Power Connector.

I would not have purchased this thermostat if I had known that it was not compatible. This should be mentioned somewhere to avoid the time and money spent to install this system.

Do you have two completely separate systems or just one system with a zone controller? When I say separate, I mean the heat has its out thermostat and the cooling has its own too.

With a zone controller in play, you need to have a Nest Power Connector for each thermostat and it gets installed between the thermostat and the zone controller for each zone.

Post a picture of your current thermostat wiring and another one of the zone controller wiring.

I was told I have no control board, No C wire to connect and valves which are not compatible.

I have multiple systems, but two zones of forced hot air and AC with 2 zones of radiant heat go through this furnace. I am trying to ONLY use the Nest with the forced hot air/AC systems, the radiant has their own thermostat which I am not changing. I have installed one nest thermostat which works fine but keeps reminding me to attach a C wire. I do not see how to attach photos on this website, and it indicates I do not have permission to upload photos to this website. Your return email does not work.

To include a picture in your message, just click on the little camera icon in the reply window or you can just drag and drop the file into the window.

Not all systems have a nice control board, some are just connected to wires with wire nuts.

What make and model is the forced air system?

Thanks for the pictures, they are perfect.

This is an easy set-up

For each zone, connect the Google Nest Thermostat to these three terminals on the System 2000 Energy Manager device.

White - R to A1

Red - T1 (T2, T3) to W

Any color - A2 to C

This is the manual for your controller and page 13 has the wiring diagrams

I do not understand

White-R to A1

Do I disconnect the white wire from R and attach to A1? DO I put in a jumper from R to A1

With all of them can you give instructions on what needs to be done.

I had ontech here for $129 and they indicated nothing to do, maybe they should refund my payment and have a better understanding of the job they are going to do, not just waste someone's time.

An electrician called my cooling and heating nest learning thermostat a split system it has the heating from the HVAC and it also has an air handler in my attic. Goggle actually told me the power connector will work on my system.

Please spell it out one step at a time

My system seems to have White to A1

Red to T1 and

Black to A2

What needs to be moved.
