topic Cooling: Does the fan need to run constantly? in Nest Thermostats

How do I keep this Nest Learning Thermostat cooling? It’s set at 71 degrees but it’s been 76-78 degrees in this house since 6pm, it’s 6am now and only seems to cool a little when I select the fan option. Once the fan stopsafter 30 minutes, it goes back to 76 and never reaches 71. I’ve turned off all home/away and Eco settings. I do not have anything in the schedule. It’s the weekend and I’m home and can’t get cool.

Hello. I'm having the exact same problem. I have a C wire. Temps are getting hotter. We are in the high 90's. A few days ago, I noticed that it was taking extra long for the house to get cool. I notice that my house remains in Cooling Stage 2. Yesterday, it ran for 18 HOURS in Cooling Stage 2. If it weren't for the cooler temperatures of the night, I'm not sure if it ever would've reached the desired temp.
