Hi folks,

@CBFox, thanks for the help!

@kfiscus, Like what CBFox, mentioned, you can add a set point every hour. Target temperatures can be set on the hour or at 15-minute intervals -- like at 7:00, 3:30, or 12:45.

You can also click on this link to learn more about this.

Thanks,

I have an Amazon thermostat that only allows 4 "events" that I can program, meaning - I can program it to come on in the morning then off, then on again in the evening and off again. That's it.

How many events can you program with the Google Nest thermostats? - looking at the E version.

As far as I can tell (playing around with my own Nest), there's no limit. You can add a setpoint every hour of the day and night, if that's what you want. I can't seem to push them closer to each other than one-hour intervals, though. (I don't mean the setpoints have to be 1:00 or 2:00, etc; they can be on any quarter-hour, e.g., 7:15 or 9:45, etc.)
