My schedule is set to heat if below 65 and cool if above 77 but auto keeps switching to 65 and 80! I have pets and don’t want the house at 80! How do I stop this? Note: this isn’t happening during a rush hour event that consumes energy sets when there is a high demand on the grid

Make sure that Home/Away Assist is turned off. Also make sure that Eco Mode is not on. Then the Nest should behave as an ordinary not-smart thermostat and follow whatever schedule you set.
