C wire error

My nest is saying I need a c wire.

I already put one on over the winter and it was working fine. Now when I approach the thermostat I get nothing. with a c on it doesn't recognize it.

Do I need to do something different?

Do a reset to factory default and set it up again and make sure you select the correct wires when asked by the Google Home App.

Still says i need to add c wire. i don't understand. it worked fine for months.

Thanks for the response. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Thermostat is still not recognizing your C wire. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

How is your Nest Thermostat wired?
Please check the power readings of your Nest Thermostat by going to Settings > Technical Info > Power.
