Has 2 nest in one home. Both setup/showup in google nest app only 1 shows up in Alexa

What could it be? I don't find any settings inside Google best app or within the thermostats themselves to deny or allow this so I'm at a loss. Alexa says ask google nest and google nest says ask alexa

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with controlling your Nest Thermostat with your Alexa. To isolate the issue, could you try removing your Nest account to Alexa and add it again?
