Hello. So I have a nest learning thermostat and it was associated with a gmail account that I deleted because it was a joint acct. that I had with my ex. I have tried every way that I know to change the nest to my new gmail acct but nothing is cooperating. I can’t get in to the nest acct because it is deleted. I tried to create new acct with nest but it is not allowing me to add the thermostat. I am ready to throw my iPad and thermostat out in my yard. Please help!

Hey Frustrated,

I understand how you feel but help is here.

First, you need to reset the account connection settings of your thermostat so it would be disassociated from the joint account that it was set up on before. Here's a guide: https://bit.ly/3riP5Dp
