Need Help Set Up the nest! Wires!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade my thermostat from something from 2000 to the nest. Can someone help me determine which wires go to which wires???

Hi Briyun,

Thanks for reaching out. If you have conventional heating and cooling, you could follow the wiring below:

Yellow wire to Y1
Green wire to G
Red wire to RC or RH
White wire to W1

Hi Briyun,

Thanks for the response. The 2 R wires are for systems with dual transformers. We use the RC for the power wire of the cooling, and the RH terminal for the heating.
