topic Compatibility in Nest Thermostats

Wires are E, Aux, Y, G, R, B, C. When checking online if my system was compatible it said yes. Then, after purchase and starting to install with software it said it wasn’t. Is it truly incompatible? My place is electric only and uses a heat pump.

Could you share a clear photo of your original thermostat wires showing the terminal labels as well as how you wired your Nest thermostat? Also, what system do you have?
