How do you stop using presets?

I purchased the new nest (regular) and after setting it up including setting 3 presets, it’s become a nightmare. It comes on and goes off regardless of how I manually set the temperature due to the presets. This is unworkable in real life. Not to mention the issue with home or away!

so, how do I either delete presets or turn them off and use it manually? Should be a simple task, but it sure hasn’t been so far.

Sorry to hear about your experience with your Nest Thermostat and I understand how you feel.

To view, edit, or create temperature presets for your thermostat:

Open the Home app.
Touch and hold your device's tile.
Tap Settings.
Select Temperature preferences.
Choose Temperature presets.
Select an existing preset to change or delete it, or tap Add to create a custom preset.
