Nest 3rd generation won't stay charged

After owning my nest for several years my nest will not hold a charge and disconnects from the internet. I called in we have tried several things including filter on both air conditioner and furnace are clean. I am thinking the battery is just at the end of its life. Can you get a new battery or do i have to purchase a new nest? I have been charging the nest via usb cord . This is a 3rd generation nest theromstat

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Google Wifi. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

How is your Nest Thermostat wired?
What is the power reading of your Nest Thermostat? You could find this information by going to Settings > Technical Info > Power.
