I installed my new nest and am not able to see any visible display. I changed the batteries, still no love. Help

Sorry to hear about your Nest Thermostat but thanks for reaching out.

A few questions — is this the one with a mirrored display? If it is, did you change the batteries to 2 high-quality 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries from a known manufacturer? Also, where did you buy it?
