With your description of your current wiring configuration, it seems that it is compatible with the Nest Thermostat. For us to be sure, could you send a photo of your current wiring from your thermostat? Also, you could use this online compatibility checker for further assistance.

Thanks for the reply and for including a photo of your thermostat.

Yes, your system is compatible with the Nest Thermostat. I just noticed that there's an unused orange wire at the back. Do you know if you have a heat-pump unit? The rest of the wires should be connected to the Nest Thermostat as it was on your old thermostat.
