Nest thermostat

Typical daily situation: the interior temp says 74.. I set the cool to 69- the nest now ( and always)says in 2Hrs. it’s a 2 level 2700 sf house so should it take that long to cool the house by only 5 degrees?? Sometimes the Nest will say it’s even warmer (75-76) than the initial 74. not sure why temp goes up a little before going down if I’ve set it to go to 69.

Sorry for the confusion you've had with your Nest thermostat readings and cooling. I know it's been a while since you posted, so I apologize for the delay in responding here.
