How to change wifi network on thermostat

I recently changed my internet and need to update the new wifi network to the thermostat. All help directions say to remove device and re-add in order to update wifi network but when I removed the device it now says it can’t be re-added as it is already associated with a home? Any other ideas…

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with setting up your Nest Thermostat. If your Nest Thermostat is still showing that it's still linked to an account, we would need to reset it's account settings. You can click on this link to learn more about this.
