App always stays orange no matter setting. Thermostat functions correctly.

App has been uninstalled and reinstalled resulting in no change in behavior.

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

I'd like to know what the Nest Thermostat mode is when you see the orange status from the app. Also, we could try to log out from the app and re-login using the same account.

I was able to solve the issue of the thermostat state being misreported to the app by rebooting the thermostat.
