Nest thermostat gen 2 heatlink has died

am I correct in thinking that there is a known issue with the heat link units on the 2nd generation thermostats?

I’ve had mine for less than 2 years and it suddenly stopped working. Checked the heat link unit next to the boiler and there are no lights displayed. Before it had a steady green light but nothing now. Have tried the reset and also switched power off and back on again but to no avail.

Hi there and thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having troubles with your Heat Link. Also, a great amount of troubleshooting done there. Could you tell us when it started happening? Which type of Nest Thermostat do you have (Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd gen/3rd gen, Nest Thermostat E, or Nest Thermostat 2020)? Also, what country are you located in?
