Operating E model nest thermostat

Just got Nest thermostat. Not sure which model. It was regular $129 but on sale for $99 if that helps. It has a side touch button but nothing on front. I think it's the Nest E. Anyway, I guess comfort, sleep, eco mode doesn't work on E model????

According to that page, it's the Nest Thermostat (no "E" or other modifier on its name) that has the side button, but you'll be able to tell from the pictures.

The capabilities -- or, at least, what they're called and how you control them -- vary greatly between the Nest Thermostat and the other (E or learning) models.
