Have had smart home set up for several years now with 30 devices and over 20 routines. Have Nest Learning Thermostat and just added a nest temp sensor. Have been wanting for years to turn on a fan when the temp hits a certain temp. Just researched this again and google routines still do not support this capability.

Can you provide more information regarding the specific sensor type and model you are currently using? Are you building a new smart home integration, or are you setting up a device from the market?

While currently our SensorState trait does not support a temperature reading attribute, you might be able to utilize the thermostatTemperatureAmbient attribute within the TemperatureSetting trait.
