1. Does have TPI?

2. Can you over-ride auto switching to ECO if you are in a room too far away for the thermostat to detect your presence?

We appreciate your interest however, we don't have any news to share about TPI for Nest Thermostats. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I also suggest that you send feedback by following this link.

You can turn on your Home/Away assist to over-ride ECO mode. Once you’ve set up Home/Away Assist to use your phone’s location, it will use a combination of cellular and Wi-Fi data from your phone to help tell if you’ve left or you’re back home. Here's how: Change Home/Away Assist settings
